Fairview has a staff of experienced and highly qualified teachers, each a master of his or her own instrument. All teachers offer lessons to beginners as well as advanced students.
I believe passionately that singing is a vital form of artistic expression and that everyone should be encouraged to develop his or her own unique voice with a healthy technique.

John Schmid, tenor/counter tenor Master of Music and Bachelor of Music (voice), Butler University; tenor/countertenor; director of Fairview Studios and director of Music Fairview Presbyterian Church, including the Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, Children’s Choir, and Youth Orchestra; conductor and chorus master of the Indianapolis Opera since 1984. He is also the director of the Lyric Theatre-College of Music-Butler University.

Lessons: Students receive private, weekly lessons. Times and dates are flexible.
Tuition ranges from $90-$120 per month. There is an annual $25 enrollment fee.
